I was looking at post, and it's very helpful. I was just hoping someone could narrow down some choices for me - I only ever played KOTOR 2 through once (as opposed to the three/four times for KOTOR 1), and it was due to the buggy nature of the game. I just dl'd the TSLRCM + the droid planet mods, which sound awesome, and it makes me want to revisit the game (I mostly remember being so disappointed about that whole factory of HK-47s or something like that). My playstyle is very aggressive, but I dislike missing out on the conversation dialogue options that are used via Persuade and the like. Is there an optimal playstyle/character build that would allow me to dispatch enemies easily but also retain the backstory/conversation options that are so unique to KOTOR?Thanks for the help!. I would recommend against using M4-78. It's been known to be buggy on occasion, and aside from that it's really not very good. The TSLRCM team did wonderful work restoring the content which Obsidian had already begun work on, but M4-78 was scrapped early, and for good reason.
The dialogue is the worst example of fan acting out there, and the story is winding and pointless to the plot. It breaks immersion and simply isn't worth your, or anyone's, time.As for builds, I'm not the best so I'll leave that to someone else. Tinderbox 7 0 3 download free. I should warn you, however, that KOTOR 2 has a lot of skill checks.
Jun 1, 2015 - 6 – Now you have to copy RPF archives into “mods” folder. For example, if you want to modify “Grand Theft Auto Vupdateupdate.rpf” you need. ASI - Open your GTA V folder in File Explorer; you can do it fast in OpenIV - In root. The following table is explain how you need to copy archives to mods folder. We fixed an issue where sometimes OpenIV crashes while renaming folders. X64a.rpf) you want to mod into “mods” folder and made changes in that copy. Using ver2.7 I would like to copy and paste the `update` and `x64` folder into the newly created `mods` folder. However there is no `copy` after. Gta v mods folder download. Jun 4, 2017 - To edit those.rpf files, OpenIV is required. OpenIV allows the use of a mods folder, where a seperate copy of files is stored that can be edited.
If you have low skills, you won't be able to unlock certain dialogue from some characters, in one particular case very important dialogue. If you go full damage build on a Guardian or Consular, you're likely to miss out on some of those checks; only a moderately high-INT Sentinel can reach most of the checks you'll be presented with. Consular + Sith Marauder is what I went and it's probably one of the most powerful in the game.
This build gives you insta-killing abilities (on bosses) with dual lightsabers and basically infinite force powers at the end of the game. I didn't have any trouble unlocking stuff in conversation (mostly because of my upgreading of persuasion, awareness, and will (because of consular)).
Unfortunately you're not gonna get any speech checks with computer and repair because consular gets shit all skill points. Yes force crush it's good but I like using DPS + buff powers more because you can stack melee too. No doubt crush is good against bosses but nothing beats hitting multiple enemies with insanity (or stasis) and plague and then just cutting through them with your lightsaber.
(or force storm if you want the easy xp lol)I also just realized marauder gets you fury which more than makes up for the lack of strength if you focus on force powers instead. Consular + marauder is looking a lot better than specialization now haha. Start with the Jedi Sentinel, make sure to even out most of your Attributes, allow 14 for Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution. Then follow that up how ever you want with the other attributes depending on how you wanna play the game. Since you're sentinel I'd add 12 intelligence or more, and remove the negatives from wisdom and charisma. Choose Wisdom for will saves and more light side force powers, or charisma for persuade checks, follower influence, and being able to use both sides of the force with less negative effects. Then add the skills how you see fit, if you want to have more influence opportunities go with either persuade or awareness. Or go with Computer Skill and Security or repair depending on if you wanna open lockers without breaking the items, or you want to use more droid companions and learn more from them through skill checks. For feats I'd max out melee weapons finesse then move on to give at least one feat to dueling, and Finesse with melee weapons.
After those three feats I'd focus on leveling up two-handed dueling and flurry. For force powers definitely go with augmentation powers like force speed, force valor, heal, force armor, and force resistance. These will eventually make you OP at melee combat when you need it, or use valor when you wanna quickly level up all your stats before skill checks.
If you are loyal to the light side of the force near the ending of the game you'll unlock a new force power that activates all the force powers I listed above at the same time making you OP like never before, its a great power when taking on bosses or a lot of enemies.Keep leveling up those feats and powers until you get the chance to choose a prestige class later in the game (as long as you stay loyal to one alignment). Choose the Jedi Weapons Master or the Sith Marauder. Once you do that you'll level up like a Jedi Guardian and have more feats to choose from. Just keep choosing feats from then on that are related to Two-weapon fighting and master flurry or toughness.I am just telling you this way cause this was my most recent play through and its by far the strongest class I've ever had.
And this is coming from a time when I thought The Jedi Consular/Master who could wreck 10 enemies at once was the strongest character I ever made. To be fair, a Jedi sentinel can help you flush out more of the game story and character interactions while at the same time making you OP at melee combat, but if only OP a little later into the game.Try it out, I never played the sentinel until the play through and had the most fun with it. Hope you enjoy your play through, KOTOR 2 really is a great game, my favorite in the series. And to get the most damage possible, keep upgrading your lightsaber every so often. If you have over 10K credits I'd go over to any trader and buy as many cheap stims as possible. Buy like a thousand stims. Then go to a workbench, go to breakdown items, and go to usables, then proceed to break down all thousand or so stims until you are left with 1000 or more materials. Once thats done exit out and let Bao-dor or t3 (whichever of the two has the highest skills in all of the possible skills in game) use the workbench.
Then go to create items area and go to light saber parts and guess what, you can craft high damage light saber upgrades with the materials you recently got from breaking down the stims. So if you're determined you can do insane amount of light saber damage with added crystals if you find them, then add force augmentations and bada bang son you slicing through sith like butta. Honestly, the combat in this game is not that difficult. A fully optimized build trivializes most content, especially late game. Unless you purposely try something weird (blasters only, for example), you shouldn't have trouble. For getting the most out of conversations, all you really need to do is max out persuade and awareness, and repair (repair helps with a small number of conversations, but is essential for crafting, since your repair determines how much you get for breaking things down).
This can be done either with being a consular (who gets all these skills) or as any other class by taking the skill proficiency feat. Just make sure you have 12+ Intelligence (14+ for guardian). So really, do whatever you want.Quick example build of something that will do all conversations, and clear through combat with ease:Consular 15 / Jedi Master or Sith lordStats: 10, 14, 14, 12, 14, 14 - On level ups, add to charisma and wisdom.Skills: Persuade, Awareness, Repair.Weapons: Pick either single or dual weilding, get the appropriate feats and the flurry line. Dual weilding is nice because you can stack multiple stat boosting lightsaber crystals.Powers: Regardless of alignment, grab the heal, speed, persuade, fear/stun (based on alignment), and lightning sets.
![Kotor 2 Companions Dark Side Kotor 2 Companions Dark Side](https://torf.mmo-fashion.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Jedi-Robes.jpg)
Next priority is energy resistance, valor (if light side), revitalize. After a few levels you'll have more force points than you know what to do with, so don't worry about the alignment costs.Strategy: stun enemies, buff self, kill. Your main damage will come from zapping everything in sight with lightning, but with all those buff powers you can hold your own in melee just fine. This turned out longer than I was planning to write.
Tl;dr: Get the right skills and anything will work.

Each class can unlock five unique companions over the course of the game in addition to a generic ship droid companion and two bonus companions which can be unlocked through missions. Companions provide commentary, combat support depending on their specialization, and perform Crew Skills. Players gain influence faster or slower with them depending on conversation choices and by giving gifts. Some companions are romance options. To speak with a companion in private and accomplish their individual missions, simply take them to a cantina or starship.

Companion list[edit | edit source]
Class/faction companions[edit | edit source]
During the original class storylines, each class will progressively unlock four companions. Each of these companions will have their own individual storylines that players can choose to explore through conversations. As their backgrounds are explored, players will learn more about where they came from, meet their own friends and family, and even battle together against their own personal enemies.
There are also a few special companions to unlock through various missions and rewards.

Companion customization[edit | edit source]
Players can customize the look of their companions, including armor, weapons, and physical appearance. Equipment has no effect on a companion's attributes and companions can only equip the type of equipment they are skilled in. To change a companion's equipment, open the Character Sheet in-game and click on the Companion tab. Players can then drag and drop any equipment from their inventory into the appropriate slot.
Companion vendors are scattered throughout the galaxy and will have tokens that will change the physical appearance of certain companions. These changes could be different paint jobs for droids or even changing the race and hairstyle of humanoid companions.

Players can give their companions gifts, which will improve the player's influence with their companion. This in turn gives companions bonuses to combat, mission time, and mission critical. Each companion has gift preferences, which are detailed on the gifts page.
